The Grüner Veltliner vines on the farm were planted over the course of 15 years. As the vines reach maturity, they are able to produce more than just a fresh and light Grüner. The Meinklang Tag is made from the older vines; it is a richer expression than traditional Grüner Veltliner. Enjoy smoky and spiced fruit flavors with an underlying taste of orange rind. The acidity is vibrant, and the finish is long.
The manually harvested Grüner Veltliner goes through full carbonic maceration for about two weeks. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with native yeast. The wine ages for over 9 months in concrete eggs. The wine is not fined or filtered and bottled without sulfites.
